Today was a lazy day around the house - I spent some significant time working on my final project for my MBA class, and Ray (unfortunately) spent the ENTIRE day working on upgrading the hard drive of the PS3.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a projec that worked out the way Ray was hoping.  After hours and hours of struggling to have the PS3 recognize the drive (actually, I think he tried 3 different drives) and upgrade and work... he just couldn't get it to do what he was hoping.  He even spent some serious time on the phone with PlayStation support, but to no avail.  The PS3 still works, but he wants a larger drive so we can do things like download/rent movies from the PlayStation Network.  I hope he can get it sorted out without having to throw a second day at the problem!

So Sarah and Jay came over for dinner tonight - Ray made his famous seafood in basil sauce (well, chicken for me) and we spent hours chatting with the Jergers!  Ray and Jay (and about 18 other guys) are going Go-Karting in Montreal next week.  Jay warned Ray that he wouldn't want to use the rentable helmets, so he generousl febreezed and loaned Ray a helmet for the occassion!  Fortunately Ray's head was just the right size - Jay said the helmet was a bit big for him.  :o)

Now that all of Ray's graduate school applications are in, we are checking the mail regularly.  While there was no grad school news today, there was a very exciting piece of mail waiting for us when we got home tonight: Phlip and Colleen's Wedding Invitation!

It went right up on the fridge - a place of honor!  We are soooo looking forward to the wedding, and I can't believe how quickly it is arriving!

Tonight Ray and I had a bit of a date, we went to my old stomping grounds at UVM's Theatre to see the sold out run of Godspell.

Actually, I can't remember the last time we went to see a show at UVM, I think it must have been years, and while musicals aren't my usual thing, Ray was excited and it was a good excuse to get us out of the house!  The show was a lot of fun, and the students did a great job really making the show their own.  I also had a chance to catch up with some former professors, talk a little Burlington-theatre gossip and have some fun, so it was a great night!

Snow!  Actual snow!  It was quite a lovely sight to wake up to this morning!  As I have said, we haven't had much snow this year, and while they aren't forecasting this storm to be much of anything, it was rather pretty to wake up to actual snow.  It makes it feel like winter... which is a feeling I am fairly mixed on.  :o)  The tree in my photo is the one across our parking lot, and I loved the way the snow clung to each tiny branch.
