A few weeks ago I emailed Will and Katie to see if there was a good time for Ray and I to come out and visit them in East Rochester.  I realized the last time Ray and I took that drive Will was a sophomore in college.... so it's been waaay too long!  Ray and I have taken a few Fridays or Mondays off over the next couple of months, slowly burning our vacation time that way, and hopefully easing our stress levels.  The stars aligned and this weekend worked for both couples.

After Ray got out of work we hopped in the car for the 6.5 hour drive to Rochester. Along the way Ray had the great idea to meet my parents for dinner.  They gracious agreed to wait for dinner until 7:30 pm (when we would be in their area) and to meet us in Ballston Spa, which was more directly on our route.

So we met up at the Sunset Cafe for some yummy Mexican-Tex-Mex type food.  I had a great black been and corn quesadilla and we shared great nachos!  It was a nice little hour and a half break in the drive, and the company couldn't have been better!  Also it was WARM, in the low 70's when we finally arrived close to 8:00 pm.  That was a BIG change from the low 40's with wicked wind we had in Burlington today.
